AI search visibility scan — free, no signup

Is ChatGPT sending you customers — or your competitors?

Citedkit runs 13 checks on your site in about 12 seconds and shows which ones stop ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude from citing you. The scan is free and needs no signup; a full audit with the fixes is $99.

Self-audit · we scan ourselves first
citedkit.com scored 100/100 (A)live scan · 6 Oct 2026 · same 13 checks you get
  • ✓ 13 checks passed — robots, answer-first opening, FAQ, freshness, authorship, sameAs links, Organization schema, OpenGraph, HTTPS
  • △ 3 warnings we had on 13 Sep — fixed on 1 Oct — weak answer-first opening, missing sameAs links, incomplete Organization schema. We publish the before as well as the after.

The audit found real issues on our own site and we shipped the fixes — that's the point. Every report lists exactly what to fix, ranked by impact.

Models do not reward good writing. They reward extractable answers.

Same expertise, same author, same page. The only thing that changes is structure — and structure is what decides whether you get cited or summarised away.

  • In this article we will take a look at some thoughts about morning routines…

  • Answer: A 20-minute morning routine works best — 5 min light, 10 min movement, 5 min planning.
  • Author line + links to real profiles, so AI can verify who is speaking.

What changes

Not cited → cited

Same page, answer-first structure: the answer moves to the top and the author becomes verifiable. That is the single biggest lever our 13 checks measure.

Do AI crawlers even get in?

We tell you whether the bot is blocked — or just not coming.

Most tools only see what is already in AI answers. But the first failure happens earlier: your firewall. Since September 15, 2026, Cloudflare’s defaults changed for new sites and for every existing free plan: multi-purpose crawlers that mix search with training (Googlebot, Applebot, BingBot) are blocked on pages detected as serving ads, unless the owner opts out. Many site owners have no idea. Every scan sends a real probe with the PerplexityBot user agent and reports what came back:

blockedWAF or Cloudflare challenge answers the bot probe with 403/429Your site is reachable for people but shut for AI crawlers — check Cloudflare Security → Bots.
not comingProbe returns normally — nothing is blocking AI crawlersAccess is not your problem. Whether engines cite you is a content/structure question — see the checks below.

One probe, one observation — not a rank. Included in every free scan.

Full GEO audit — first 5 clients

Get the full audit your free scan points to — $99, no subscription

A focused review of how your site is set up for AI crawlers and how it appears in a sample of real AI answers. Useful for finding technical and content issues to investigate — not a promise of more citations.

Included

  • 20–30 real AI queries based on your category
  • Comparison with 3 competitors
  • Examples where your site was NOT cited in the results reviewed
  • 5 prioritized recommendations
  • A 10-minute video walkthrough

Not included

  • Implementing changes — that’s the Fix package, $490
  • Ongoing monitoring or a subscription
  • A guarantee of improved visibility, mentions, or citations

Delivery within 48 hours of your site and category details. Invoice by email — the audit reports what we observe in a defined set of queries at the time of review; AI answers vary between runs, so a missing citation doesn’t establish how often you are cited overall.

We onboard a few sites at a time, in a limited-capacity program — request a spot and we answer within 1 day. No payment now: you only pay when your spot opens and you approve the scope.

Honest disclaimer: fixing AI-crawlability removes technical barriers, but we can't guarantee when (or whether) AI assistants start citing your site — that depends on their crawlers and your niche. Expect weeks to months for measurable movement, not days. We only promise that the fixes themselves are done correctly and verifiably.
